Models underscore the Significance of Ikarian Basin for Deep-Diving Cetaceans
The Habitat suitability models combined with machine learning tools confirm that the Ikarian Basin is a key habitat for deep-diving species, reinforcing its ecological value. In addition, depth, slope and distance from shore played a significant role on the occurrence prediction of these species.
