Passive Acoustics: non-invasive Monitoring of Cetaceans
Passive acoustic monitoring in the central Mediterranean Sea registered delphinid, sperm whales and fin whales signals. In addition, anthropogenic sounds were detected too. Behind the passive acoustic there is a wave glider device, which demonstrated to be a useful and non-invasive for research on cetaceans and anthropogenic impacts.
